*PEIT stands for Private Equity Investment Trust.
HiJoJo has built extensive expertise and networks in global private equity investment through the formation and management of funds targeting mid- to late-stage unlisted companies in Japan and overseas. With the commencement of investment operations by HiJoJo PEIT, HiJoJo will apply this expertise within the framework of an “investment corporation,” offering a broad range of investors a new form of access to global private equity investment.
Under HiJoJo PEIT, JAMP serves as the asset management company entrusted with the asset management operations of the investment corporation, and HiJoJo, under a sub-delegation of those operations, is responsible for selecting investment targets and making investment decisions by leveraging its expertise and global network in unlisted equity investment. In addition to its role as the asset management company, JAMP supports the operation of the investment corporation through general administrative services and other functions.
Founded in 2017 by Spyridon Mentzas, HiJoJo Partners is a Japan-based independent asset management firm driven by its purpose: “Unlocking Investment, Transforming Markets, Empowering Japan.” Serving Japanese investors through both offline and online distribution channels, HiJoJo has structured and distributed funds investing in mid- to late-stage companies in Japan and overseas. Its shareholders include leading Japanese financial institutions and strategic investors such as Credit Saison, Mizuho Securities, SBI Group, Finatext Holdings, MUFG Innovation Partners, Okasan Securities Group, Japan Investment Adviser, Monex Group, Pegasus Tech Ventures, i-nest capital, and SMBC Venture Capital. In 2026, HiJoJo also established a U.S. base to build a Japan-U.S. global operating structure, and has strengthened its sourcing capabilities for U.S. unlisted equities through a strategic capital and business alliance with Nasdaq Private Market, LLC, the leading private securities marketplace in the United States.
JAMP Corporation Group is a platform solutions provider for Japan’s asset management industry. Guided by the belief that client success is the reason JAMP exists, the company supports financial institutions in optimizing and growing their asset management businesses through platform services including GBASs, a goal-based asset management business support service, and white-label services built on ManCo (Management Company) functions for investment trusts, ETFs, and PEITs.
The word “Platform” is central to JAMP’s identity: it is embedded in Japan Asset Management Platform, from which “JAMP” is derived, and in the company’s Japanese legal name, 日本資産運用基盤, where 基盤 means platform.
